The Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District provides technical assistance for the management of natural resources to landowners, Cities, Townships, and Dakota County. We assist landowners with activities such as identifying wetland areas, creating effective wildlife ponds, and designing rainwater gardens. We assist local government with natural resource inventories, planning, protection programs, and the Wetland Conservation Act.
